Information
Terms and conditions
1. Introductory provisions
Operator: Artem Yemelianov, Company ID (IČO): 29920086, registered address U Parčíku 225, Vidovice, 251 63 Kunice. Contact: info@moneyart.cz, +420 722 726 248.
These terms and conditions govern the relationship between the operator of the online shop moneyart.cz (the “seller”) and the buyer in the sale of decorative 3D paintings made of prop money bills with LED backlighting.
2. Nature of the goods
The goods are decorative works of art made by hand from fake dollar bills intended for decorative purposes. They are not real money, legal tender or an investment product. Because they are handmade, individual pieces may differ slightly from the pictures.
3. Order and conclusion of the contract
By sending an order the buyer makes a binding offer to conclude a contract. The contract is concluded when the seller confirms the order (by e-mail). For items with a price on request, the seller first sends a quote for approval.
4. Price, deposit and payment
Prices are in Czech crowns (CZK); the seller is not a VAT payer. After sending the order the buyer must pay a deposit of 1 000 Kč for each ordered painting, also for personal pickup. The deposit counts towards the total purchase price. Instead of the deposit, the buyer may pay the full purchase price straight away. The balance is due before the goods are shipped, by bank transfer, or cash on delivery when receiving the parcel from the carrier PPL (if the buyer chooses this in the order), or at personal pickup.
The buyer pays the deposit and the balance by bank transfer (a QR payment can be used) to the seller's account no. 5620323073/0800, stating the digits of the order number as the variable symbol.
The deposit is due within 7 days of sending the order. If it has not been credited to the seller's account by then, the order is cancelled and no contract is concluded.
If the buyer cancels the order before production starts, the seller refunds the full deposit within 14 days. Once production of a painting made to the buyer's specifications (a custom painting) has started, the deposit is forfeited to cover the cost of material and work. If the seller cancels the order, the deposit is refunded in full. This does not affect consumer rights under Article 6.
5. Delivery
The goods are delivered by PPL to the buyer's address in the Czech Republic or Slovakia; we do not deliver to other countries. Personal pickup in Prague is also possible by prior arrangement. Shipping is free for all orders. The expected production time is stated with the product.
6. Withdrawal from the contract
A consumer generally has the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the goods. This right does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised (Section 1837(d) of the Czech Civil Code) – typically custom paintings.
For paintings offered in the shop in standard sizes, the 14-day right of withdrawal applies. It is enough to send the withdrawal by e-mail to info@moneyart.cz or by letter to the seller's address before the deadline; you can use the model form below. Send the goods back undamaged, if possible in the original packaging, within 14 days of withdrawal to U Parčíku 225, Vidovice, 251 63 Kunice. The buyer bears the cost of returning the goods.
The seller refunds all payments received (deposit and balance) within 14 days of withdrawal, using the same method by which they were received. The seller may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned or the buyer proves they were sent. The buyer is liable for any reduction in the value of the goods caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and function.
