Cash Wave is a 3D painting made of decorative hundred-dollar bills (prop money). We bend, curl and layer every bill by hand into waves, so the surface rises several centimetres off the wall and changes with the viewing angle and the light in the room.
An RGB LED backlight is hidden beneath the bills. By day the painting looks like a sculptural object of paper and shadows; after dark it lights up and creates a glowing aura around its edges. You switch the colour, brightness and light modes with the remote or the app – to any colour, anytime.
It stands out above a sofa, in a study, game room, office or reception.
This painting is a decorative work of art made from prop money bills intended for decorative purposes. It is not real money or legal tender.
